Labels (VectraLabel)
The Labels section is where you create and manage food labels for your business. Each label contains nutritional facts, serving size, and ingredient declarations that can be validated against regulatory standards.
App: VectraLabel → Labels
Create a label
- Click New label.
- Enter the product name and serving size details.
- Fill in nutritional facts — calories, macronutrients, vitamins, minerals.
- Add the ingredient list in descending order by weight.
- Click Save.
Validate a label
After saving, click Validate to run compliance checks. VectraLabel checks your label against the selected regulatory standard (FDA or CFIA) and returns:
- Pass — no violations found
- Fail — list of per-field violations with remediation hints
See Compliance validation for details on what is checked.
Edit and delete
- Edit — click the label row to open the editor
- Delete — remove a label permanently; no recovery
Usage limits
Label creation is metered per your subscription. If you reach the limit on your current plan, you will see a 402 error. Upgrade your plan from the Billing page.
